Hansen 81		2	Hansens NH set is calculated from extra-tropics and tropics. In addition, Hansens methods are not fully known (Robock 82).
Jones 82		8	Good coverage NH, procedures openly described.
Kelly 82		4	Jones use this series to compare his own data with, but im not familiar with the origin. However, Kelly is part of Jones publications and thus Kelly´s material is likely to be of similar quality as Jones. 
Vinnikov 80		2	Vinnikovs NH is missing the 0-17,5N area - However the later Vinnikov full NH supports these original Vinnikov 1980 very well indeed.
Yamamoto 78		6	Good full NH coverage however details are in Janapese…
