Bangladesh, how can we help?

Very near the sea surface, a huge area in the southern Bangladesh is inhabited by millions of people "Living on the edge". The sea level rises predicted must be considered with the deepest concern.

For the world society to take the correct decisions as fast as possible, it is a fundamental need, that all parties have one and only one goal: To actually help people in the best way. Any other goal driven by any political or religious agenda is inacceptable and immoral.
If you "decide" that this frightening problem in Bangladesh can be solved by CO2 emission cuts, then you HAVE to be sure this is the right solution. A wrong decission could be dangerous to millions of people.


A word on sea levels:
The Ocean around Bangladesh is rising, also in recent years. So it appears we have a real threat - perhaps unlike several other issues in the climate debate. This might come as a surprise since sea level rise globally in recent years appears to stagnate(Jason/Topex):
