Did CRU loose their unadjusted Hadcrut temperature data in the 1980´ies?

3 questions:

1) If CRU are aware what adjustments they have made to their temperature data, why should they not be able to fast obtain unadjusted data again? Therefore: If CRU cannot deliver unadjusted data, they appear not aware of what adjustments they have done. But are these not peer reviwed, documented?

2) If CRU lost data in the 1980´ies why have they not delivered unadjusted data from the last 3 decades?

3)

The above illustration - thanks to Ole Humlum, climate4you - shows adjustments to data alle the way back to 1850 done between 2008 and today. Adjustments are not large, but the point is: How can CRU adjust pre-1980 data when they are not aware what the original data was? Nor the adjustments already done?

Or am i wrong? Does it make sence to adjust on original temperature data without knowing original values nor how much you already adjusted?
