In Australian medias, the Murray Darling Bassin is said to be in a severe drought by now. From the statistics, its true that this area of Auatralia in recent years has received less than usual rainfall. however the overal trend still is dificult to conclude much from.
But Australia invluding all areas shows a trend of increasing rainfall:
So if global warming is producing droughts, its not easy to see in Australia.
