Temperatures measured from satellites and balloons

The modern way to measure global temperatures are satellite measurements. As satellite based measurements does not show quite as big warm trend as the land(city)based measurements, we now and then hear critics of the quality of satellite temperature data (!?)

Here is shown satellite measurements compared to med balloon measurement. We do see a striking good agreement between to 2 methods:

As balloon measurements thus appears reliable, what does the earlier balloon based temperature data say??

Unfortunately we do not have balloon measurements all the way back to the heat peak in 1940, but we do have balloon temperature data some of the way back – to 1958:

 

 

Raobcore v1,2 og v1,4.”The decline” after 1940 is clearly reflected in data even though 1940-57 is missing.
